About the position

The Business Operations team plays a critical role in driving and transforming how Intuit connects across its ecosystem and operates within the Consumer Group (CG) to achieve the goal of making taxes done for everyone, supported by an AI-driven expert platform. This team is focused on connecting strategy to execution, executing with rigor, enabling scale and velocity, leading change, and solving business problems. In this role, the Manager of Business Operations will have the opportunity to shape and manage the CG's operating rhythm and planning processes. The individual will partner with platform leaders to influence operating and planning, work with CG's senior leaders to jointly problem-solve and develop solutions to complex business problems, and provide focused analytical support to leaders responsible for operational improvements. The role requires a creative problem solver with a passion for innovating and revolutionizing the way Intuit does business. The Business Operations team aims to connect external trends and business strategies with Intuit's priorities, apply appropriate program management methodologies, drive continuous improvement, build strong trust-based teams, and develop recommendations to enhance operating systems and improve business efficiency. The Manager will be responsible for building and leading a high-performance business operations team, shaping strategy, driving execution, and ensuring initiatives are on the desired trajectory. The role also involves acting as the source of truth on progress and impact, surfacing opportunities and risks, and building strong relationships across the Intuit and CG leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sponsors and accountable leaders to shape and drive an initiative-level strategy, defining and ensuring the end-to-end experience outcomes and overall initiative input and outcome goals (strategic, customer, financial)
  • Build and lead a high-performance business operations team, including providing coaching and support to help the team develop skills to drive business impact across CG
  • Shape strategy, drive execution, and constantly push initiatives forward, ensuring they are on the desired trajectory
  • Work across cross-functional mission teams to enable work, set pace, and surface blockers that need resolution or escalation
  • Act as the source of truth on progress and impact, formalizing leading indicators and key milestones, and reporting on progress
  • Surface opportunities and risks, outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable product recommendations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the Intuit and CG leadership team to ensure holistic thinking across multiple business segments and functions
  • Design operating models and rhythms to enable effective decision making and information flow
  • Run and facilitate business reviews and planning meetings to improve collaboration

Requirements

  • 12+ years' experience including roles in business operations, program management, management consulting, or strategy in a large matrixed environment
  • Experience driving large complex programs in coordination with a variety of cross-functional leaders
  • Strong organization, communications, and presentation skills
  • Ability to synthesize various points of view into a cohesive narrative and build a presentation for senior leaders
  • High attention to detail, strong project management background, and proven ability to work successfully in a cross-functional environment
