About the position

The Business Operations Group Manager will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at driving business growth and operational efficiency within the marketing department. This role serves as a strategic partner to the SVP of US Marketing, focusing on alignment, optimization of operational processes, and the execution of key initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, along with a deep understanding of marketing strategies in the tech industry.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the SVP, Marketing, shaping and executing the marketing strategy.
  • Assist the marketing leadership team with prioritization, decision-making, and resource allocation.
  • Lead the development of long-term strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and ensure successful implementation across business units.
  • Identify areas of operational inefficiency and develop initiatives to streamline processes and improve productivity.
  • Oversee and optimize day-to-day operations within the marketing department.
  • Work closely with different departments to ensure alignment with company-wide objectives.
  • Use data analytics and performance metrics to inform business decisions and measure success of initiatives.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of key projects, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment and timely deliverables.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to junior team members.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Strategy, Operations, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 9+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or management consulting, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels.
