About the position

The Manager 3, Product Design role at Intuit involves leading a team of designers to create innovative user experiences for the Go To Market (GTM) Technology team. This position focuses on applying user-centered design principles to enhance marketing technology and personalization efforts, while also mentoring and coaching designers. The role emphasizes collaboration across various functions and the application of cutting-edge design methodologies, including generative AI, to deliver impactful customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 3-4 designers and supervise external design agencies to deliver experience design for Marketing Technology and Personalization & Experimentation charters.
  • Apply user-centered design (UCD) methodology and design principles to solve customer problems.
  • Own the inputs of design processes, design strategy, design systems & guidelines, and information architecture.
  • Lead cross-functional interactions with product management, product development, and project management to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Advocate for the design vision to business, product, and technology stakeholders.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor designers in developing key hard and soft skills; collaborate with third-party agencies for efficient design production.

Requirements

  • 15-18 years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing UX/UI designers.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, Interaction (Master's preferred), or Certified Usability Analyst(™).
  • Demonstrable experience with user-centered design methodology, including user-centered analysis, information architecture, task-flow design, and usability testing.
  • Experience applying established design principles in work.
