About the position

The Manager of Software Engineering for the CRM Platform at Mailchimp Intuit is responsible for leading a team of over 30 engineers, focusing on marketing technology that enhances customer communication, acquisition, and retention. This role involves mentoring staff, setting organizational vision and success metrics, and ensuring the delivery of customer-driven software products. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a commitment to operational excellence in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Mailchimp Marketing Technology teams, including front door experience and customer communication technologies.
• Mentor and grow engineering staff, setting vision and success metrics for the organization.
• Accountable for critical deliverables that improve customer benefits and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Experience Design teams.
• Drive the next generation of Automations & Campaign Management experiences.
• Remove roadblocks from the organization's and team's path.
• Coach front line engineering managers and senior engineers to define their career paths.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a technical leader of software engineering teams.
• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional leaders.
• Experience in delivering customer-driven software products with operational excellence.
