About the position

The Accounting Manager at Omnicell is responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of financial statements for Specialty Pharmacy Services. This role serves as the primary contact for business unit leaders regarding SOX compliance and internal audit requests, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and adherence to accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the integrity of general ledgers.
• Coordinates the completion of balance sheet account analysis.
• Prepares, verifies, and controls the entering of journal entries into the general ledger.
• Manages tasks associated with the general ledger, including entering monthly journal entries and executing month-end general ledger processes.
• Reviews monthly balance sheet and profit-and-loss statements.
• Prepares FLUX Reporting for Omnicell Specialty Pharmacy business unit.
• Coordinates monthly closing and production of financial statements to guarantee timely reporting.
• Assists in reviewing and updating monthly closing procedures.
• Participates in the completion and issuance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements/reports.
• Reviews supporting schedules to ensure that the Company's accounting practices are maintained and makes recommendations where applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a major in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of experience in an Accounting supervisory or management role required.

Nice-to-haves

• CPA preferred
• Accounting experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures on manual and automated systems preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of financial software preferred.
