The position also requires collaboration with the sales enablement team to refine marketing assets for internal sales teams and external broker partners. The manager will be responsible for writing, editing, and designing marketing materials, ensuring consistency in messaging and corporate branding. Additionally, the role involves managing vendor relationships and exploring innovative digital marketing approaches in partnership with agency media partners. The manager will lead assigned staff and project teams, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture while providing guidance and support to team members. Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Marketing team and senior management to develop strategic marketing and communications goals, objectives, and plans.
  • Oversee the evaluation, measurement, and analysis of marketing plans to ensure maximum return on investment.
  • Develop and execute regional marketing plans in support of corporate objectives, focusing on lead generation and conversion strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales management to build new programs aimed at groups and brokers across multiple channels.
  • Maintain understanding of brand and product strength in each region.
  • Analyze the customer journey and provide strategic recommendations to enhance marketing influence at every touchpoint.
  • Develop targeted marketing programs designed to generate qualified leads and support sales initiatives, emphasizing lower funnel tactics.
  • Partner with the sales enablement team to develop and refine marketing assets for internal sales teams and external broker partners.
  • Manage writing, editing, and design efforts of marketing materials to maintain consistency in messaging and corporate branding.
  • Recommend enhancements to sales collateral, website communications, and campaign assets to improve engagement and lead conversion effectiveness.
  • Manage vendor relationships for research, production, and other services as needed.
  • Collaborate with agency media partners to explore and implement innovative digital marketing approaches.
  • Manage assigned staff and project teams, ensuring tasks are clearly defined and deadlines are met.
  • Encourage creativity, collaboration, and innovation within the team, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8 years of marketing and/or business strategy experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience in financial services, particularly health insurance, is preferred.
  • Comprehensive marketing knowledge and the ability to apply advanced marketing and communications concepts and best practices.
  • Strong writing skills with a demonstrated command of grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
