About the position

The Acquisitions Business Operations Manager at Quadrant, Inc. is responsible for supporting senior Department of Defense (DoD) members in managing acquisition processes. This role involves coordinating tasks across various workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and managing communication with stakeholders. The position requires a deep understanding of acquisition documentation and policies, as well as strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Government leadership in coordinating tasks and information across discrete workstreams.
  • Participate in Client Acquisition-related Working Groups to ensure the Department's equities are considered.
  • Draft correspondence on behalf of Government Leadership for review and approval.
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders at all levels on behalf of Government Leadership.
  • Monitor, task, and track internal and external staffing actions assigned to the Acquisition Office.
  • Manage the quality of correspondence provided to Government Leadership for review.
  • Establish and assist with the implementation of organization-wide business operations processes.
  • Document current processes and collaboratively draft future processes with staff members.
  • Perform technical writing, editing, and proofreading for various documents, ensuring they are in the appropriate format and free from errors.
  • Assist team members in other specialties as needed to accomplish the overall mission.

Requirements

  • Active DOD Top Secret with SCI eligibility is required.
  • 10+ years of overall related experience in Acquisitions management.
  • Experience supporting Senior DoD members in the acquisitions management field.
  • Deep knowledge of and experience in performing senior-level Action Officer functions.
  • Experience developing and reviewing acquisition documentation, Acquisition Decision Memorandums, Acquisition Strategies, information papers, and reports.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and DoD-specific acquisition policies and processes.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
  • Exceptional task management skills, experience with CATMS is desired.
  • Strong writing background (creating briefs, memos, correspondence, technical papers, etc.).
  • Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient in MS Teams, Excel, and Outlook applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly motivated professional capable of managing a demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities.
  • Able to handle sensitive material with discretion.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or field is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • PPBE experience is a plus.
