About the position

SiriusXM and its brands are at the forefront of audio entertainment, delivering a compelling subscription and ad-supported experience for listeners across various platforms. The Ad Product Marketing team plays a pivotal role in the success of SiriusXM Media, which encompasses a wide array of audio services and products. As a Manager in Ad Product Marketing, you will be responsible for the commercialization of products, tools, and capabilities across our audio platforms. This role is set in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment, where you will collaborate closely with Product, Go-To-Market (GTM), Sales, and Operational teams to identify marketplace needs and inform our go-to-market strategies. In this position, you will create sales collateral that equips our sellers with detailed insights, ensuring that SiriusXM Media is positioned as a leader in the audio advertising space. Your responsibilities will include driving the commercialization of key product and feature launches, developing marketing plans that support our products, and socializing new opportunities through effective internal and external communication. You will also monitor competitive threats in the advertising market, leveraging insights to inform sales narratives and materials, while contributing to case studies and measurement initiatives that impact future revenue streams. This role requires a proactive approach, as you will need to pitch in wherever necessary in our fast-growing company. Your ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain strong internal relationships will be crucial to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the commercialization of key product and feature launches for SiriusXM Media
  • Partner with Product and Sales teams to identify use cases, market must-haves, functional requirements, and materials/proof-points of SiriusXM Media's offering
  • Create strategically sound and 'street smart' sales tools on our offering
  • Recommend the right collateral (presentations, one-sheets, videos, etc.) to ensure sellers can articulate the product's value proposition effectively
  • Develop marketing plans that support SiriusXM Media's products and collaborate with B2B, PR, & Industry Marketing teams
  • Socialize new opportunities via internal and external communication channels
  • Enable sales with thoughtful resources to drive understanding and confidence in the pitch
  • Monitor competitive threats in the rapidly evolving ad marketing space
  • Drive case studies and larger measurement initiatives, ensuring sound results and ability to scale and impact future ad product and capability revenue
  • Additional duties as needed/assigned

Requirements

  • BA/BS required in Marketing, Business, Economics or related undergrad degree
  • 5+ years' experience in advertising working at a publisher or ad agency
  • Well-versed in the advertising and media industry with experience in Product Marketing
  • Comfortable with developing and maintaining solid internal relationships across the sales & product organization
  • Deep understanding of advertising technology industry and market trends
  • Strong grasp and keen passion for audio, marketing, technology, and culture
  • Good public speaking and presentation skills
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Thorough knowledge of Google Suite (Google Docs, Spreadsheets, Slides)
