About the position

The Manager, ADA Governance at Prudential plays a crucial role in supporting the company's ADA Governance model, ensuring that all digital assets comply with accessibility standards and regulations. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain and improve the digital accessibility program, while also managing records and compliance advocacy efforts. The role can be performed fully virtually or in a hybrid model, depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the maintenance and adherence to the Enterprise Standard for digital assets by collaborating with internal experts and the WCAG Executive Review Board.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and artifacts in alignment with the Enterprise Standard requirements.
  • Partner closely with Accountable Executives, Accessibility Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), control partners, product teams, testing teams, and application owners to provide comprehensive reports on program status to senior leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with Vendor Governance and Vendor Engagement Managers to implement strategic action plans for third-party content, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.
  • Oversee and manage the Governance SharePoint site, ensuring it serves as an effective resource for maintaining program integrity and accessibility information.
  • Act as a champion for the compliance framework, ensuring the integrity of the program through proactive engagement and advocacy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Program Management, with governance experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and consultation skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of precision in work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter and problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications related to accessibility or program management are a plus.
