The Manager of Affiliate Accounting and Allocations at Entergy is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's cost allocation and apportionment processes. The manager will also work on high-impact special projects, including the audit and reporting of storm costs, which are critical to the company's financial integrity and regulatory compliance. The job duties include performing monthly close activities, processing journals related to various expenses, conducting account reconciliations, and managing inter-company transactions. The manager will maintain billing methods, assess the need for new methods, and adjust current billing percentages as necessary. They will also review and analyze allocation results for reasonableness, approve billable project codes, and provide regulatory filing support, including writing testimony and developing exhibits for witnesses. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Entergy meets its financial and regulatory obligations while maintaining high standards of accuracy and accountability.
