About the position

The Manager - AI/ML Engineering at adMarketplace is a leadership role focused on building and scaling high-performing machine learning teams. Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive machine learning strategy aligned with business goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top machine learning talent.
• Oversee a portfolio of machine learning projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Build strong partnerships with product management, engineering, and data science teams.
• Set clear performance expectations and conduct performance reviews for team members.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the technical landscape and ensure the team uses the latest tools and techniques.
• Lead by example in code quality and establish rigorous code review processes.
• Represent the team in internal and external forums, sharing insights and best practices.

Requirements

• A PhD or MS in a quantitative field with 10+ years of experience in AI/ML.
• 5+ years of demonstrated success leading and managing technical teams.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams and inspire innovation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
• Experience with a wide range of ML tools and frameworks, and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying ML models in relevant domains.
