As a Manager of Aircraft Base Maintenance at American Airlines, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team within the Base Maintenance Team of the Integrated Operations Division. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring maintenance manpower requirements, ensuring that they align with program scheduling and priorities. You will maintain effective communication between various departments, including Maintenance, Engineering, and Facilities Maintenance, to ensure seamless operations. Additionally, you will oversee the development, review, and validation of maintenance requirements, ensuring that appropriate training and leadership development opportunities are provided to your team. You will be tasked with ensuring that all mandatory requirements are scheduled and completed to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of aircraft operations. Your role will also involve developing a LEAN Improvement Strategy and managing engine shop overhaul production flow, as well as executing manpower deployment and shift production requirements.
