About the position

The Manager of Ambulatory Services is responsible for the operational oversight and management of daily activities within the department. This leadership role emphasizes positive leadership behavior, teamwork, and the successful completion of tasks and projects to meet departmental and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of the ambulatory services department.
• Set the tone for positive leadership behavior within the team.
• Ensure successful completion of tasks, projects, and responsibilities.
• Support departmental and organizational goals through effective management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in an ambulatory or medical setting.
• Master's degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration can substitute for the required experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations including Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and commercial insurance.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes and teamwork.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and follow through to solutions.
