About the position

The Manager of Americas Product Activation at YouTube is responsible for leading a team focused on driving business outcomes and product adoption goals. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with various stakeholders, and fostering a positive team environment to support the growth of the YouTube creator and partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Regional Product Activation leads.
  • Work with Global Product Activation team and the YouTube Partnerships team to drive business outcomes and product adoption goals.
  • Initiate, establish, and scale strategic initiatives, working with a broad stakeholder set.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners to drive alignment, strategic change management, and overall communications.
  • Create a positive team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or product strategy, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience managing teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or graduate degree.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
  • Experience in consultative sales, business development, or a digital media environment for an organization.
  • Knowledge of the YouTube ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to take ambiguous topics and turn them into compelling narratives for different audiences.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
