About the position

The Manager at VaynerMedia is responsible for developing high-quality data analysis, insights, and recommendations to drive business outcomes. This role requires technical expertise in SQL, Tableau, Python/R, and Business Intelligence best practices, and involves consulting with clients to support their implementation and reporting needs. The position is based in the NYC office and requires working upwards of three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day analytics on an account, partnering with both internal VaynerMedia and client teams to drive insights and recommendations for client campaigns.
• Establish hypotheses to test tied key metrics in partnership with media, strategy, and creative teams to inform decisions and measure media success.
• Scope, prioritize, execute tests, and interpret test results, aggregating learnings for share-out to key client stakeholders.
• Build and maintain dashboards, visualizing data based on client specifications, business goals, and KPIs to enable faster insights and tailored reporting.
• Lead and teach analysts and senior analysts on best practices of marketing analytics.
• Provide oversight for 1-2 analysts/senior analysts on an account.

Requirements

• 3-5 years experience in digital marketing analytics with a media focus and understanding of social platforms.
• Experience with campaign analyses within digital platforms including Google Ads, DV360, Facebook, Amazon, TikTok, Twitter, and SnapChat.
• Experience with analytics, attribution, and measurement systems such as Google Analytics, Nielsen, IRI, Millward Brown, and Oracle.
• Strong storytelling capabilities and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or equivalent.
• Experience with Retail Media, omnichannel attribution, Performance Marketing, and/or closed-loop attribution.
• Proficiency with Python and SQL.
• Advanced skills in Excel including pivot tables, V-Look Ups, and macros.
