About the position

Christian Dior is seeking a high caliber, luxury-minded Asset Protection Manager with a detailed understanding of high-volume risk management. The Asset Protection Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day protection of employees, clients, and store assets. This role involves carrying out asset protection and inventory control strategies to combat shrink, increase safety, and support the store's overall success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail loss prevention and asset protection, with a focus on creating a safe and secure environment for both employees and customers. In this position, the Asset Protection Manager will lead initiatives aimed at reducing theft and loss, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization. The role requires collaboration with various departments and external partners to implement effective loss prevention strategies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for training and mentoring staff on asset protection protocols and best practices, ensuring that all team members are equipped to contribute to the store's security efforts. The Asset Protection Manager will utilize their expertise in physical security systems, including alarm systems and CCTV, to enhance the store's security measures. They will also be tasked with analyzing data related to shrinkage and safety incidents, using this information to develop actionable plans that drive improvements in asset protection and overall store performance. This position is critical to maintaining the integrity of the store's operations and protecting its valuable assets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day protection of employees, clients, and store assets.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding asset protection.
• Foster a culture of safety within the organization.

• Train and mentor staff on asset protection protocols and best practices.
• Utilize expertise in physical security systems to enhance store security measures.
• Analyze data related to shrinkage and safety incidents to develop actionable plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail loss prevention / asset protection is required.
• LPQ or LPC Certifications or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
• WZ or CFI Certifications preferred.
• Strong interview, interrogation, and investigative skills required.
• Strong management/leadership skills vital to develop collaboration and partnerships across the organization, 3rd party partners, and outside agencies.
• Experience in driving successful AP, shortage control, safety/fire/accident reduction, and fraud prevention programs.
• Understanding of criminal and civil law as it applies to the retail environment.
• Strong working knowledge of physical security (Alarm systems, CCTV & Security guard management).
• Self-motivated individual who can be successful in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent analytical skills necessary to demonstrate the ability to solve problems.
• Ability to handle sensitive loss prevention issues in an ethical manner.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills.
• Proficient computer skills including loss prevention applications, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and store systems including exception-based reporting.
