As the subject matter expert in Asset Protection and Shortage Reduction Strategies, the Manager will leverage their experience to support the company's overarching goal of achieving top-line results. In this role, the Manager will lead the store's executive team in planning, implementing, monitoring, and managing shortage prevention and awareness programs. Building strong relationships with Store, Division, and Regional leaders is essential to garner support for achieving shortage goals. The Manager will also be responsible for managing and monitoring internal and external theft investigations, apprehensions, and recoveries, while analyzing theft trends using available Asset Protection reports, systems, and technology. A high level of shortage awareness and effectiveness will be established through regular audits and adherence to Asset Protection policies and procedures. Customer service is a priority, and the Manager will uphold Macy's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and respect in every interaction. They will role model exemplary service and lead the Asset Protection team to ensure an outstanding shopping experience. This includes maintaining merchandise protection standards, conducting audits, and driving a culture of awareness focused on prevention. People management is a key aspect of this role, as the Manager will recruit and develop qualified Asset Protection talent, fostering a culture that values retention and career development. They will lead innovative projects, address colleague concerns fairly, and build partnerships with local law enforcement and community leaders.
