Responsibilities

• Complete or assist in the oversight of census
• Billing
• Accounts receivable
• Tracking of Medicaid applications and other accounts receivable functions
• Manage patient/resident trust funds and confidential files in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Meet with patients/residents upon admission and discharge to explain financial obligations

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• A minimum of two years' experience in long term care billing and collection experience
• Additional coursework in accounting/finance is recommended
