About the position

The Autism Services Program Manager will oversee and deliver behavioral services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective program management. This role involves supervising staff, conducting assessments, and collaborating with families and educational institutions to implement intervention plans.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide clinic- and community-based behavioral services to children with autism and their families.
  • Assist faculty with scheduling, supervision, and training of part-time research assistants.
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and develop intervention plans for caregivers.
  • Consult with schools, families, and programs regarding behavioral strategies.
  • Manage and evaluate the program to ensure compliance with contractor and state regulations.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience supervising staff and conducting functional analyses and behavioral assessments.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Knowledge of effective assessment and intervention strategies for behavior reduction.
  • Effective supervisory skills and knowledge of behavioral skills training for caregivers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and graphing behavioral data using GraphPad Prism.
  • Ability to communicate scientific principles of behavior analysis clearly.

Nice-to-haves

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Texas.
