About the position

The Manager of AV Project Management at Continua Interiors is responsible for leading the AV project management team, ensuring successful implementation of commercial audio-visual systems while balancing profitability and customer satisfaction. This role involves coaching team members, coordinating schedules, managing project resources, and promoting quality improvement to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the AV project management team, including coaching and performance management.
  • Coordinate schedules with the Install Manager to ensure project success.
  • Monitor team productivity through metrics and project reviews.
  • Manage the implementation of commercial AV systems, balancing profitability with customer satisfaction.
  • Determine project goals, schedules, funding limitations, and resource allocation for awarded business.
  • Attend pre-sale and construction meetings; perform site visits.
  • Promote quality improvement to enhance customer experience.
  • Coordinate distribution of AV drawings and documentation to the project team.
  • Ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
  • Provide guidance to the project team to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Manage requests for changes from original specifications.
  • Coordinate commissioning of installed systems with programmers and installation teams.
  • Increase profit margins through strategic planning and execution of projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of people management experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • CORE accounting and contact management software proficiency is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and multitasking skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide solutions that are beneficial to the client and cost-efficient for Continua.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information, designs, workflows, and procedures.
  • Prompt responsiveness to customer needs and requests.
