Manager, Board Test Engineering

About the position

The Boards and Modules Test Engineering Manager at NVIDIA will lead the development of manufacturing test solutions for board and module products within the Test Solutions Group. This role involves guiding engineers in creating processes and methodologies that ensure high-quality product delivery, while also exploring test automation and relevant testing areas. The position requires a blend of hardware and software expertise to drive innovative solutions that enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Define manufacturing test solutions for boards and modules products, translating them into methodologies and processes applicable across GPU and Data Center product segments.
• Develop test strategies for new product features, including identification, specification, design, and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment, and diagnostic software.
• Support the development of test content and solutions in Python.
• Collaborate with different teams to develop GPU and CPU testing coverage, including HW Design, Quality, and Software Development.
• Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technology and methodology to improve production efficiency.
• Lead and advise a team of engineers to coordinate a product line and guide teams in resolving technical problems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of demonstrated ability with post-silicon validation experience in Board or System products.
• 2+ years of management experience or leading technical teams and projects.
• BS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Background with designing and implementing test plans for hardware products, including defining test methodologies, developing test scripts, and creating test fixtures.
• Experience working with manufacturing test programs at the boards level.
• Experience with Python programming and bash scripting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.
