The University of Denver is seeking a Manager of Brand Marketing to join its Division of Marketing & Communications (MarComm). This full-time position is pivotal in enhancing the university's brand reputation through strategic marketing initiatives and effective storytelling across various channels. The Brand Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with MarComm team members and campus partners to identify opportunities for brand engagement and messaging, ensuring that every interaction with the university positively impacts its reputation. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking and practical execution skills, with a strong background in content marketing, social media, and brand experiences. This role requires a proactive approach to creating compelling brand moments that resonate with diverse audiences. In this position, the Manager will be responsible for developing and optimizing marketing toolkits to empower faculty and staff in accurately representing and promoting the university. The role includes managing the MarComm swag inventory, identifying opportunities for brand involvement, and collaborating with campus partners to generate excitement around key university events. The Manager will also oversee the execution of brand marketing activations, monitor competitor branding strategies, and maintain a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all marketing efforts. Additionally, the Manager will create and execute an annual content marketing strategy aimed at increasing the visibility and engagement of the DU brand. This includes curating compelling stories, ensuring consistent brand representation, and implementing marketing best practices across various platforms. The role also involves project management responsibilities, including drafting strategic briefs, coordinating cross-functional teams, and tracking key performance indicators to assess the impact of marketing initiatives.
