About the position

As the Manager of Brand Marketing at Red Bull, you will play a pivotal role in leading regional marketing efforts aimed at increasing sales and product usage while fostering brand loyalty. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing, your primary responsibility will be to embody the company's commitment to localizing its global brand presence. This involves developing comprehensive beverage marketing plans that are informed by consumer insights and product knowledge. You will also be responsible for coaching and guiding a team of specialists to ensure the best execution of these plans. Your role will require you to be the eyes, ears, and voice of the consumer, utilizing your understanding of regional insights, demographics, and psychographics to influence marketing programs and local Above The Line (ATL) campaign spending. You will build a local '360' marketing plan that enhances brand awareness and product usage across various occasions such as work, study, fitness, and gaming. Additionally, you will leverage national programming to drive sales in regional retail accounts and create custom retail programming in collaboration with Key Accounts and Product Marketing teams. You will oversee regional sampling and collegiate marketing programs that engage both current and next-generation consumers, ensuring that all local brand and beverage efforts align with national and global strategies. Your leadership will extend to managing budgets for consumer collecting, sampling, and product marketing activations within the region. You will also be responsible for hiring and onboarding a team of specialists, developing targets and plans for their growth, and establishing effective team routines and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional marketing efforts to increase sales and product usage.
  • Develop beverage marketing plans informed by consumer and product insights.
  • Coach a team of specialists towards effective execution of marketing strategies.
  • Build a local '360' marketing plan to enhance brand awareness and product usage.
  • Leverage national programming to drive sales in regional retail accounts.
  • Create custom retail programming in collaboration with Key Accounts and Product Marketing teams.
  • Oversee regional sampling and collegiate marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with regional Sports, Culture, and Communications teams to improve brand program outcomes.
  • Ensure local brand efforts align with national/global strategies and guidelines.
  • Develop measurable marketing goals for the region.
  • Lead all regional product launches and build plans accordingly.
  • Manage budgets for Consumer Collecting, Consumer Occasions, and Product Marketing activations.
  • Oversee the execution of the Student Marketeer program and ensure goals are met.
  • Hire and onboard a team of specialists and develop their targets and plans.

Requirements

  • Project management experience from brainstorming to execution.
  • Experience presenting and facilitating trainings and meetings.
  • Collegiate marketing and sampling experience is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
