About the position

The Manager, Brand Strategy & Marketing role at Warner Bros. Discovery is essential for enhancing the brand positioning of WBTV IP through strategic marketing initiatives. This position involves overseeing the acquisition and management of marketing assets, ensuring compliance with legal and talent approvals, and collaborating with various internal and external teams to execute cohesive brand strategies. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the IP brand and tailored marketing strategies, while also managing high-volume marketing assets and supporting the SVP of Brand Strategy and Marketing in revenue-generating opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track high-volume marketing assets and team IP project assignments.
  • Oversee updates to the company-wide library of marketing assets and publish to the B2B site.
  • Collaborate with key partner teams and departments to ensure cohesive brand strategy and alignment.
  • Lead and delegate brand coverage and asset acquisition with the Brand Marketing Assets Supervisor.
  • Communicate brand goals, positioning, and strategy to all constituents.
  • Act as point of contact with external agencies and partners, providing strategic feedback and managing brand approvals.
  • Oversee strategy implementation and execute all aspects of marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding and training for the Brand Management Assets Supervisor and contingency workers.
  • Support the SVP in identifying pitch strategies and opportunities for revenue-generating IP brand placements.
  • Manage brand management for both current and legacy titles, ensuring compliance and clearance for requests.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with entertainment studios, brands, networks, and/or production executives.
  • Previous TV photo marketing and/or publicity experience required.
  • Strong experience working knowledge of production required.
  • Account/Client Services experience required.
  • Significant project management experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with Business Affairs, Legal, and Clearances within the entertainment field preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, including leveraging search, social, and mobile marketing.
  • Basic retouching skills and experience with Photoshop required; familiarity with Adobe Lightroom, Bridge, Illustrator, and InDesign preferred.
