About the position

The Manager, Brand Strategy & Marketing role at Warner Bros. Discovery is essential for enhancing the brand positioning of WBTV IP through strategic marketing initiatives. This position involves overseeing the acquisition and management of marketing assets, ensuring high-quality promotional materials, and collaborating with various internal and external teams to maintain brand consistency and alignment across all projects. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the IP brand and tailored marketing strategies to support both global and domestic sales efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track high-volume marketing assets and team IP project assignments.
  • Oversee updates to the company-wide library of marketing assets and publish to the B2B site.
  • Collaborate with key partner teams and departments to ensure cohesive brand strategy.
  • Lead and delegate brand coverage and asset acquisition with the Brand Marketing Assets Supervisor.
  • Support the SVP of Brand Strategy and Marketing by communicating brand goals and strategies.
  • Act as the point of contact with external agencies and partners, providing strategic feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with various internal departments to execute campaign strategies.
  • Oversee the Brand Management Assets Supervisor and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Identify process changes for operational excellence and communicate with the SVP.
  • Manage brand management for current and legacy titles, ensuring compliance for requests.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in TV photo marketing and/or publicity.
  • Strong experience working with entertainment studios, brands, and networks.
  • Significant project management experience required.
  • Experience with Business Affairs, Legal, and Clearances preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and tasks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies.
  • Basic retouching skills and familiarity with Adobe software.
  • Experience with union photographers and rules.
  • Familiarity with working on a MAC platform.
