About the position

The Brand Tech Marketing Sites Manager at Capital One is responsible for leading the development strategy for a system of websites that support the company's tech marketing goals. This role involves collaborating with various marketing strategy partners to evolve the current website strategy, driving awareness and education around Capital One's technology leadership. The manager will oversee web strategy, manage complex projects, and lead a small team to optimize the tech marketing sites for both product growth and talent objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the web strategy for the Tech Site and Capital One Software site.
  • Create and execute intent-specific website strategies to support campaigns and business needs.
  • Manage a wide range of stakeholders to gather website intent and develop the roadmap.
  • Lead technical SEO strategy to increase organic search rankings and traffic.
  • Drive the ongoing implementation of strategies by leading a team of 1-2 associates/contractors.
  • Lead strategic decision-making to prioritize development and design resources.
  • Own intent and create briefs for site creative needs in support of campaigns.
  • Lead site governance planning including regular reviews and audits with stakeholders.
  • Facilitate learning through qualitative and quantitative research to improve site experience.
  • Partner with analysts to report out channel KPIs to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a website management role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a digital marketing role.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 or more years of experience in Tech, SaaS or B2B marketing.
  • 5 or more years of experience in a strategic Website Manager or Product Manager role.
  • 1 or more years of experience in a strategic SEO role.
  • Experience with Enterprise-level CMS & site UX principles.
  • Analytics driven with strong experience in Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
  • Experience with running site A/B testing efforts via tools such as Adobe Target, Optimizely.
