About the position

Walmart Connect is seeking an experienced Client Services professional on a newly formed team supporting both domestic and international Emerging Brands. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital advertising and client services, with experience providing technical guidance and advertising performance optimization recommendations. This role will be part of a small team accountable for ticket-based support for a large, diverse set of high growth advertisers looking to grow and scale their presence on Walmart's advertising platforms. The Client Services Manager will utilize a data-driven approach to advise clients and Sales teams on the optimal advertising products and tactics to achieve their business objectives. The ideal candidate will have online trafficking and campaign management experience, strong analytical and communication skills, deep knowledge of campaign setup and execution best practices, bid management platforms & active / in-flight optimization experience.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with Sales teams as they work with their clients to plan, execute and measure advertising campaigns
  • Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail and adherence to Walmart Connect's best practices throughout the full digital campaign life cycle from pre-sale to post-sale
  • Support a broad scope of products including Onsite Display, Offsite (Walmart DSP), Social, and various In-Store activations
  • Build and deliver media plans for new client opportunities using strategic insights and best practices
  • Provide forecasting support to help advertisers understand available ad inventory for a variety of products and tactics
  • Manage the day-to-day campaign maintenance, including internal and external questions regarding accurate campaign implementation, pacing and the performance of various campaigns
  • Facilitate Walmart proprietary audience building strategy & recommendations
  • Work with trafficking teams to traffic tags and ensure accurate tracking for campaigns
  • Assist with creative asset support
  • Regularly consult sales teams on insights to clients detailing performance, campaign optimizations, and new opportunities
  • Analyze accounts and campaigns for optimization opportunities to achieve or exceed KPIs and business objectives
  • Maintain monthly/quarterly KPIs & metrics - including SLAs, identify potential opportunity and risk, provide business insights and drive efficiency in ticket and task completion
  • Billing reconciliation support
  • Partner closely with internal teams including sales and client services to define metrics and measure success of campaigns using internal analytics
  • Utilize strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts fluidly and cross functionally
  • Build playbooks and best practice guides to enable scaled service model
  • Attend ad hoc client calls to provide technical support and subject matter expertise

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in digital advertising, Search/Sponsored Products, Display, Video, Performance advertising, full-funnel platform sales, PMP/automation background
  • Knowledge of marketplace dynamics, small businesses, automated hands-on-keys platforms [self-serve, DSPs, API partners]
  • Strong focus on efficiency and throughput of requests to ensure accountability and measurability
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration with internal teams
  • Experience building highly structured operational processes and workflows
  • Ability to lead day-to-day relationships and work with management and multifunctional teams to respond to client needs
  • Excellent follow-through and no hesitation in ensuring accountability across teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills along with cross company and partner collaboration skills
  • Capability to work proactively under pressure and handling multiple ad hoc requests
  • Tactical and strategic thinker to help influence clients' investment in Walmart's advertising platform
