The Manager, Business Development-Inside Sales is responsible for developing business growth in the new and existing small to medium customer segment across the On-Demand, International Freight Forwarding and Domestic over the road (truckload, LTL, intermodal) segment. This role involves identifying opportunities, determining and presenting appropriate transportation solutions based on customer service needs, and managing the Customer Transition & Integration (CTI) functions. The manager will oversee sales processes, manage sales activity in the CRM, and develop strategic plans to grow revenue from small and medium-sized accounts. Additionally, the role includes coaching junior team members, tracking key performance metrics, collaborating with other departments, and staying informed about market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
