The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in driving the success of Hyundai Capital America (HCA) by utilizing consultative selling skills to educate, motivate, and train both new and existing Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis dealers within their assigned district. This position is focused on promoting HCA's diverse financial products, including retail, lease, certified pre-owned (CPO), and commercial financing programs, which encompass floor plan, real estate, working capital, and sign loans. The primary objective is to achieve annual sales targets and profitability goals while fostering strong relationships with dealers and leveraging HCA's offerings for mutual growth and success. In this role, the Business Development Manager is responsible for implementing and utilizing new products and services launched by the company on an ongoing basis. This includes collaborating with various business partners, including original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), to ensure that HCA's products and services are effectively integrated into the dealers' operations. The manager will also be tasked with promoting dealer utilization of HCA programs, which involves achieving specific business targets such as standard penetration, subvened penetration, lease penetration, and customer loyalty metrics. Additionally, the Business Development Manager will educate and enroll dealers in new programs and services, such as eContracting, by partnering with all stakeholders, including HCA support staff. Training dealership personnel, including General Managers, Sales Managers, and Finance Managers, on new technology and the digitalization of HCA products and services is a key responsibility. This includes providing updates on programs, application submissions, funding, compliance, and self-service functionalities. The ideal candidate will possess a dynamic and motivating personality, with a strong internal drive to meet goals and deadlines, along with excellent sales presentation skills and experience in financial statement analysis.
