About the position

The Manager, Business Operations at Denver Health is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions and management of the Acute Center for Eating Disorders & Severe Malnutrition. This role involves personnel and financial management, quality improvement analysis, strategic planning, and budget management. The manager will lead operational services, develop performance standards, and ensure the department operates within budgetary parameters while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Responsibilities

  • Leads operational services of the department.
  • Establishes qualifications and performance standards for each position and coaches staff members.
  • Assesses quality of services regularly and ensures continuous improvement.
  • Develops Standards of Work (SOW) documentation, policies, and procedures for the department.
  • Creates Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to promote success and efficiency.
  • Develops or assists with developing annual operational and capital budgets.
  • Manages contracts and relationships with customers/clients and vendors.
  • Monitors care coordination for quality, customer service, and timeliness.
  • Reviews and approves all invoices for equipment, supplies, and other resources.
  • Serves as the liaison with other departments to complete business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school in business, healthcare or related field.
  • 4-6 years of directly related experience in administrative, project or professional management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Highly skilled in budget preparation and financial analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare management or operations.
