About the position

The Manager, Capital Projects Procurement is responsible for leading Supplier Commercial Excellence for a portfolio that supports Entergy's capital investment of $17.7 billion across various business functions including Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Renewables, and Nuclear. This role involves developing commercial strategies, managing a team of Strategic Sourcing professionals, and ensuring safety, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction in procurement processes. The position requires collaboration with business leaders to create effective sourcing strategies and maintain stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is prioritized within the team and promote strong safety behaviors.
• Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies for procurement.
• Establish and maintain positive stakeholder relationships across functions.
• Create multi-year demand plans with integrated supply chain solutions.
• Operate with high ethical standards and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Manage and mentor a team of 4-7 Strategic Sourcing professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, supply chain management, engineering, finance, or equivalent experience required.
• 5 years of experience in materials/warehousing, purchasing, contracts, or project management.
• 3 years of supervisory experience or equivalent leadership experience.
• 7-10 years of Contracting Experience, particularly with EPC Contracts and service contracts.
• Strong business acumen and strategic agility in category management and supplier relationship management.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA preferred.
• Professional Supply Chain/Procurement certification preferred.
• Related energy Supply Chain experience preferred.
• Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement in supply chain.
