About the position

The Manager of Category Management at Nestlé Health Science is responsible for developing and implementing analytics and insights to strengthen partnerships with HEB Grocery and Dollar General. This role focuses on leading the development of Category Management strategies for various Active Nutrition brands, ensuring alignment with company and customer priorities. The position is remote but prefers candidates based in Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Establish clear Category Management strategies based on Industry Trends & Consumer Insights.
  • Serve as an expert in translating internal knowledge into action to identify opportunities for assigned retailers.
  • Collaborate with account teams and cross-functional teams to develop solutions to business issues.
  • Establish and deliver best-in-class merchandising recommendations using tools like JDA and Rich Mix.
  • Influence customers by identifying opportunities and providing solutions that align with retailer and company objectives.
  • Assist with research and lead projects to deliver category solutions for customers and the company.
  • Develop category reviews, line reviews, promotion analysis, and new item trackers.
  • Leverage data tools to provide reporting and insights to develop company and retailer objectives.
  • Develop analyses and insights to address business issues such as SKU rationalization and consumer behavior.
  • Incorporate advanced consumer data into analyses as relevant.
  • Partner with internal teams to leverage insights for business development at assigned retailers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of Category Management experience required, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
  • Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required.
  • Current or prior experience with IRI/Circana and/or Nielsen reporting is required.
  • Strong analytical, data synthesis, data visualization, and reporting skills required.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills required.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on team and business needs.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence key decision makers required.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% based on team and business needs.
