About the position

PeaceHealth is seeking a Manager for the Central Staffing & Timekeeping Office, responsible for overseeing the coordination of staffing operations within the Columbia Network/Southwest Washington. This remote position requires the incumbent to reside in Oregon, Washington, or Alaska by the date of hire. The role focuses on managing operational performance, quality, service environment, and regulatory compliance while providing leadership and resource management for centralized staff scheduling functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations including staff supervision and monitoring workflow.
  • Oversee the selection, training, development, discipline, and evaluation of assigned staff.
  • Collaborate with leadership to maximize operational efficiencies and meet budget goals.
  • Participate in operational planning and implementation of strategic plans.
  • Monitor nursing quality dashboard and staffing resources.
  • Develop and manage budgets for operational departments, ensuring financial performance measures are met.
  • Support and manage upgrades to department-specific software.
  • Evaluate and implement changes to workflow and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with staffing/scheduling in a healthcare environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership experience.
  • Working knowledge of staff scheduling and payroll programs preferred.
  • Experience with collective bargaining units preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with scheduling and/or timekeeping within a collective bargaining agreement environment.
  • Previous experience working with clinical teams.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing programs preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in operations management and financial management preferred.
