About the position

The Change and Training Manager at GAF will play a crucial role in the company's multi-year ERP implementation project, focusing on the people side of transformation. This position involves developing and executing change management strategies, engaging stakeholders, and delivering training to ensure successful transitions to new processes and systems. The manager will collaborate with various teams to foster a culture of adaptability and engagement during significant changes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Change and Communication Leads to design and activate initial change strategy.
  • Assess change impact on stakeholders and identify readiness and mitigation strategies.
  • Identify communication needs and engagement plans for specific process workstreams.
  • Identify critical skill gaps and collaborate to bridge them.
  • Build a Change Champions network to support adoption and scale organizational change capability.
  • Complete training needs assessment and provide input to role-specific training curriculum.
  • Partner with SMEs and business trainers to design and deliver effective end user training.
  • Connect process and business context to technical documentation.
  • Build a Power User network to support end user training.
  • Provide ongoing Hypercare and enhancements training support.
  • Identify learning and adoption KPIs to measure success and effectiveness of strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Change Management, Business, Education or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in change management roles with a proven track record in leading transformational initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience in training documentation and delivery for corporate and manufacturing audiences.
  • 3+ years of recent SAP S/4 HANA experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and highly proficient facilitation capabilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Change Management certification, including Prosci, CCMP or other certification strongly preferred.
  • Certification in training and development strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IT transformation methodologies.
  • Prior manufacturing experience and understanding of business processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Previous experience in leading change management and training initiatives during IT transformations.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external change and training resources.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in fast-paced environments.
  • Project management experience.
