About the position

The Manager, Change Management & Communications at Gartner plays a crucial role in orchestrating change management and communication strategies for cross-business unit transformation programs. This position is part of the Transformation Office, which focuses on translating corporate strategy into actionable initiatives that enhance collaboration and drive continuous improvement across the organization. The role requires a strong emphasis on crafting clear and engaging communications to facilitate the adoption of new processes and technologies, ensuring consistency in messaging and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive change management and communications strategies and plans for multiple transformation and data programs.
  • Own the end-to-end communications process across various written and verbal channels, including gathering information, identifying audiences, developing content, creating graphics, facilitating review/approval processes, testing and delivering messages, etc.
  • Craft compelling stories tailored to the target audience, translating complex information into clear, simplified messaging to drive awareness and adoption of changes.
  • Produce high-quality communications, newsletters, presentations, training/resource materials, feedback forms, status reports, graphics, and related change management deliverables aligned with Gartner's brand standards and culture.
  • Identify and collaborate with subject matter experts and critical partners to develop accurate deliverables, ensure timely completion, and drive successful outcomes.
  • Proactively manage stakeholders, holding them accountable for meeting deadlines.
  • Coordinate and facilitate change management and communication status update and collaboration meetings.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to raise the bar across the team and programs.
  • Support program management efforts and special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or US equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in communications, change management, and/or project management.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and applying brand standards.
  • Highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented.
  • Collaborative team player with a flexible approach; willing to wear multiple hats and navigate ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a global/matrix environment.
  • Strong work ethic focused on meeting deadlines and objectives.
  • Ability to proactively identify gaps, break down complex business problems, and identify/deliver solutions.
  • Understanding of processes, procedures, and governance for leading projects and programs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Google Suite (Google Drive, Drive File Stream, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Experience with communication tools such as Staffbase, Canva, Interact is a plus.
