About the position

The Manager of Change Management at FedEx will play a pivotal role in creating and delivering strategies and plans that maximize the adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies across the enterprise. This position is essential for leading change initiatives by engaging, advising, and informing key internal and external stakeholders. The manager will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of change strategies and plans that drive value and achieve desired business outcomes. In this role, the manager will lead the HR and enterprise change network, collaborating with various stakeholders to assess, distribute, and deliver change management needs that align with enterprise changes. The manager will oversee a team that works collaboratively across the business to support enterprise-wide initiatives. Management responsibilities will include coaching, skills development, performance management, and enhancing team effectiveness and productivity. The manager will create and launch a comprehensive, enterprise-wide strategy for a change framework that aligns with both business and people strategies. This includes conducting change assessments to understand the scope and scale of changes, impacts to stakeholders, and potential areas of resistance. The manager will identify change goals and success metrics, defining high-level change strategies in partnership with cross-functional partners. Additionally, the role involves building and delivering actionable engagement, communications, knowledge management, and learning plans to enable adoption and achieve intended business outcomes. Strong judgment and decision-making skills are essential, as the manager will anticipate project needs and develop innovative, sustainable solutions focused on adding value. Building strong cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholders and leaders in Technology, Finance, Legal, HR, People Operations, and People Analytics will be crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team to work collaboratively across the business to support enterprise-wide initiatives.

  • Create and launch a comprehensive, enterprise-wide strategy for change framework that aligns business and people strategies.
  • Conduct change assessments to understand the scope and scale of changes, impacts to stakeholders, and potential areas of resistance.
  • Identify change goals and success metrics and define high-level change strategies in partnership with cross-functional partners.
  • Build and deliver actionable engagement, communications, knowledge management, and learning plans to enable adoption and achieve intended business outcomes.
  • Demonstrate strong judgment and decision-making in anticipation of project needs and develop innovative, sustainable solutions focused on adding value.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholders and leaders such as Technology, Finance, Legal, HR, People Operations, and People Analytics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resource management, industrial psychology, or other related fields.
  • Five (5) years of related experience in organizational change management, program design and implementation, and resource management.
  • Extensive knowledge of best practices, industry trends, and benchmarks for the domain.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with various levels of leadership.
  • Ability to collaborate and form strategic partnerships with other functions.
  • Experience in leading program teams, both formally and informally.
  • Experience conducting learning/skill assessments and developing educational materials.
  • Strong business and data acumen.
  • Ability to collaborate with global stakeholders on local regulations and employment laws.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual proficiency is preferred.
