About the position

As a key member of the digital content management team, you will manage, edit, organize, and store various digital assets for Fidelity's websites and mobile applications. This role involves utilizing multiple content management systems (CMS) and tools to create and update content, ensuring all assets are organized according to best practices. You will lead publishing efforts on large projects, collaborate with various partners, and provide technical direction while addressing capability gaps and monitoring resource planning.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, edit, organize, and store digital assets including marketing copy, images, videos, and articles.
  • Create and update content for Fidelity's websites and mobile applications using CMS templates, HTML, CSS/JS, and custom queries.
  • Ensure all assets are organized according to digital asset management best practices.
  • Lead publishing efforts on large interdisciplinary projects and collaborate with creative, business, and technology partners.
  • Provide technical direction to the team and offer analysis and advice to senior leaders.
  • Develop plans to address capability gaps while monitoring resource planning.
  • Proactively lead complex projects and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Work closely with CMS developers and internal IT staff to ensure the CMS meets organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise-level web content management systems (CMS).
  • Dedication to user functionality, information architecture, interactive patterns, responsive/adaptive design, SEO, and accessibility.
  • Ability to understand the flow of data/content through an information system.
  • Natural aptitude for content personalization and A/B testing.
  • Curiosity, positivity, and creativity in a technologically dynamic environment.
  • Ability to independently resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong prioritization skills to shift deliverables based on need.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strategic oversight of large projects and coordination with other content managers.
