About the position

The Manager, Channel Marketing (Digital Content Management) is a key individual contributor role responsible for managing and organizing digital assets for Fidelity's websites and mobile applications. This position involves utilizing various content management systems (CMS) to create, update, and maintain content while ensuring best practices in digital asset management. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing technical direction, and leading complex projects to enhance digital experiences and drive customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, edit, organize, and store various digital assets including marketing copy, images, videos, and articles.
  • Utilize multiple CMSs and tools to create and update content for Fidelity's websites and mobile applications.
  • Ensure all assets are organized according to digital asset management best practices.
  • Lead publishing efforts on large interdisciplinary projects and collaborate with creative, business, and technology partners.
  • Provide technical direction to the team and offer analysis and advice to senior leaders.
  • Develop plans to address capability gaps while monitoring resource planning.
  • Proactively lead complex projects and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Work closely with CMS developers and internal IT staff to ensure the CMS meets organizational needs.
  • Audit, diagnose, and resolve content issues in the CMS and production environments.
  • Create sustainable and optimal processes to streamline content workflow, tracking, and management.

Requirements

  • Experience updating content through an enterprise-level web content management system (CMS).
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
  • Experience/Interest in using personalization through a CMS, including executing A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Ability to understand the flow of data/content through an information system.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently resolve complex technical issues.
  • Proven capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with product owners, stakeholders, designers, writers, and front-end developers.
