About the position

As an Accounting Solutions Manager at Rehmann, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the accounting functions within our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing, supervising, and reviewing detailed accounting functions and work papers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. You will be instrumental in building strong relationships internally, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration that drives success across the organization. Your commitment to providing a ‘wow’ experience to every client will be paramount, as you contribute to the success of our clients' organizations through exceptional service and innovative solutions. In this role, you will provide direction and new challenges to associates on your team, teaching and developing them to reach their professional goals. Mentoring will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, as you guide associates through their career paths and help them navigate the complexities of the accounting profession. You will also be tasked with identifying opportunities to introduce other Rehmann specialists to existing clients, thereby enhancing the value we provide and making a significant impact in the communities where you live and work. Your leadership will not only focus on the technical aspects of accounting but also on the personal and professional growth of your team members. You will be expected to contribute to a positive work environment that encourages out-of-the-box thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit, allowing for continuous improvement and innovation in our services.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, supervising, and reviewing detailed accounting functions and work papers
  • Building relationships internally to foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or industry
  • Experience working within the healthcare client space, a plus
  • Experience working within the professional services client space, a plus
  • CPA license, a plus
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other special purpose frameworks
  • General knowledge of federal income tax laws and impact on financial reporting
  • Strong interactive skills and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of business operations and interest in working with clients to sustain growth and enhance profitability
  • Familiarity with accounting technology solutions
  • Outstanding client service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to develop unique business solutions in a team-based environment
  • Passion for coaching others to higher levels of performance
