About the position

The Manager of Client Relations at the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center (LVMC) is responsible for overseeing customer service operations within the veterinary teaching hospital. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of service and staff management across both Small Animal and Large Animal hospitals. The manager will supervise a team, manage scheduling, performance evaluations, and ensure adherence to safety protocols while fostering strong communication between staff, clients, and faculty.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of veterinary teaching hospital assistants.
  • Manage timekeeping and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain strong communication between hospital staff, clients, and faculty.
  • Troubleshoot client issues and oversee hospital scheduling.
  • Ensure operational processes run smoothly.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
  • Assist with hiring, scheduling, and HR-related tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of related experience.

  • Experience scheduling for multiple shifts.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience with creating and implementing SOPs.
  • Experience with accounting.
  • Prior experience working in high level customer service roles.
