About the position

The Manager of Clinical Business Operations plays a crucial role in ensuring the business continuity and fiscal performance of an assigned clinical department or unit. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining operational, strategic, and capital budgets, as well as pursuing and implementing cost-saving initiatives and strategies. The manager will assist in designing and maintaining inventory management processes and policies, and will develop statistical models to produce product demand and usage profiles. In addition to budget management, the manager will analyze inventory usage, systems, practices, and policies to provide management with decision support information. This role requires close collaboration with IT and staff members to coordinate the use and maintenance of information systems within the department, as well as the acquisition of necessary information systems. The manager will also ensure that proper pricing and billing practices are implemented and maintained, oversee complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives, and plan and monitor staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and taking disciplinary actions as necessary. Furthermore, the manager will lead initiatives to enhance or create product lines, ensuring that the department operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Operations, Nursing, or a related field.
  • 3 years of healthcare finance or inventory management experience.
  • Critical thinking skills and effective communication skills.
  • Decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
