Responsibilities

  • Resolving cash reconciliation items
  • Reviewing daily transaction postings
  • Recording of monthly closing accruals
  • Calculating management and incentive fees
  • Reviewing and reconciling capital activities and statements maintained by the transfer agent
  • Preparation of monthly fund reporting and performance metrics
  • Coordinating with independent auditors, custodians, and transfer agents
  • Assist in the production of monthly and quarterly reporting for leverage facilities
  • Reviewing quarterly and annual 10-Q and 10-K SEC filings
  • Participate in projects and continuous process improvements for key deliverables
  • Performing other tasks as required

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant fund accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Geneva and/or Geneva World Investor, accounting systems and Markit WSO (notice portal) is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA preferred
