Manager, CODA Program Lead

About the position

The CODA Program Lead at Capital One is responsible for overseeing the strategy, delivery, and expansion of the Capital One Developer Academy (CODA), a six-month coding bootcamp designed for non-Computer Science majors. This role involves managing a team of approximately four associates, focusing on coaching and developing early career talent, and ensuring a best-in-class experience for participants. The Program Lead will influence strategic decisions using data-driven insights and will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance the program's impact and inclusivity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a people leader for ~4 direct reports, empowering and inspiring them to deliver their best work each day.
• Lead the strategic direction for CODA, defining team scope and impact, and influencing program curriculum and experience.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including the CODA Accountable Executive, S&G Recruiting, HRBPs, and LOB/Tech teams.
• Set strategies to prioritize diversity, inclusion, and belonging throughout the hiring and associate experience.
• Consult and problem solve across the program team and the broader Student & Grad organization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 4 years of program management, client facing, or consulting experience, or a combination.
• At least 1 year of people leadership experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of people leadership experience.
• At least 5 years of program management, client facing, or consulting experience, or a combination.
• At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources or Human Capital Consulting.
• Significant experience analyzing metrics, trends, and survey data, and using them to make strategic changes.
