About the position

The Commercial Finance Manager at RNDC plays a crucial role in driving financial success across multiple markets within a designated region. This position is responsible for overseeing the profit and loss (P&L) delivery of suppliers, ensuring optimal financial performance and growth. The role involves managing key financial activities, fostering strategic relationships with suppliers, and contributing to revenue and profit targets through effective performance management and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the performance management processes for supplier divisions, including planning, forecasting, risk assessment, and operational execution.
  • Develop comprehensive P&Ls, analytical models, and reporting mechanisms to provide insights into financial performance and trends.
  • Collaborate with finance associates to align pricing strategies, mitigate risks, and enhance revenue and profit delivery.
  • Monitor performance against targets, track KPIs, and identify areas for improvement within supplier divisions.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify performance gaps and prioritize investment opportunities for growth.
  • Partner with the Revenue Management COE to optimize pricing strategies and enhance profitability.
  • Input and approve pricing changes into the Vistaar system, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key supplier leaders to foster collaboration.
  • Support the revenue management team in identifying and communicating pricing opportunities across the RNDC network.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address issues impacting supplier performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field preferred.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience, preferably in commercial finance or within the wholesale beverage alcohol industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, P&L management, and strategic planning.
