About the position

The Manager, Community Health Services is responsible for leading, developing, and executing community health services and outreach initiatives. This role focuses on enhancing access to care, developing partnerships, and supporting whole person care delivery. The manager will coordinate initiatives to support a comprehensive strategy aimed at strengthening Novant Health's mission in the community, implementing programs and events that align with community engagement goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop community health services and outreach initiatives.
• Coordinate assigned initiatives to support a comprehensive strategy for community health.
• Implement programs and events to support community engagement strategic initiatives.
• Interact with multiple levels of leadership and community stakeholders.
• Foster teamwork and community involvement among team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of professional work experience in nonprofit/public organizations or hospital/community health settings.
• Minimum 5 years of successful supervisory/management experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle.

Nice-to-haves

• Health Coaching Certification and/or Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification preferred.
• Experience with community health improvement strategies.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Dimensions/EPIC software.
