About the position

The Manager, Community Health Services at Novant Health is responsible for leading and executing community health services and outreach initiatives. This role focuses on enhancing access to care, developing partnerships, and supporting whole person care delivery. The manager will coordinate initiatives that align with Novant Health's mission and community benefit goals, implementing programs and events to engage the community effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of community health services and outreach initiatives.
• Coordinate assigned initiatives to support a comprehensive strategy for community engagement.
• Implement programs and events that align with community benefit goals.
• Interact with various levels of leadership and community stakeholders to enhance outreach efforts.
• Foster teamwork and community involvement among Novant Health team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in nonprofit/public organizations or hospital/community health settings.
• At least 5 years of supervisory/management experience required.
• Health Coaching Certification and/or Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities concurrently.
• Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders and team members.
• General knowledge of community health improvement strategies.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Dimensions/EPIC software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required.
