About the position

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking a Manager Community Living III to join our dedicated team. This full-time position offers a starting salary of $60,000 and is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. In this role, you will be responsible for creating an environment where individuals are valued and encouraged to reach their full potential, adhering to principles of individual rights and normalization. You will promote a culture of creativity, autonomy, and continual learning within the organization. Your responsibilities will include keeping your supervisor informed about site issues, preparing and implementing Individual Plans (IP) in compliance with all COMAR regulations, and coordinating interdisciplinary teams. You will also be expected to act with discretion and professionalism, demonstrating exceptional planning and organizational skills, effective conflict resolution abilities, and strong problem-solving skills. The work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, with hours from 8 am to 4 pm or 9 am to 5 pm, along with on-call hours as needed. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and at least four years of experience in a related field, including a minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity. Experience may be substituted for education on a 1:1 basis. The position also requires the ability to lift at least 75 lbs, move between work sites, and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Responsibilities

  • Prepare, implement, and document Individual Plans (IP) according to all COMAR regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of COMAR and HCBS Final Rule, waiver, and service definitions.
  • Familiarity with person-centered planning philosophy.
  • Basic Windows PC, web browsing, and Microsoft Office skills.
