About the position

The Manager, Community Resource Centers (CRC) at L.A. Care Health Plan is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of the CRC facility operations. This role is crucial in fulfilling L.A. Care's mission to serve vulnerable populations by offering services in local communities throughout Los Angeles County. The manager will supervise CRC staff, align programming with organizational priorities, and manage community partnerships to enhance member-focused services and address social determinants of health.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the CRC facility operations.
  • Supervise, recruit, train, and evaluate CRC staff.
  • Align CRC programming and services with organizational strategic priorities and community needs.
  • Manage relationships with onsite Plan Partner staff and contribute to joint program implementation.
  • Promote health education, wellness, and social supports to increase member engagement.
  • Oversee marketing, promotional events, and health screening programs for the CRC.
  • Manage vendor contracts and logistical coordination for high-quality services.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to enhance CRC operations and health care outcomes.
  • Engage in community meetings as L.A. Care management representative.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in resource allocation and management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience in planning community health-focused events and managing projects.
  • Experience working with ethnically diverse populations in a community setting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior work experience in nonprofit/social services, especially with government-funded programs.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database programs.
  • Bilingual in one of L.A. Care's threshold languages (Spanish, Chinese, Armenian, etc.).
