About the position

The Manager of Global Compensation at Rocket Software is a pivotal role within the Total Rewards team, responsible for managing and enhancing the company's global compensation strategy. This position involves designing, implementing, and administering compensation policies and programs while collaborating with HR Business Partners and business leaders to deliver innovative compensation solutions. The role also includes conducting market research, analyzing compensation data, and ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Rocket's compensation philosophy and ensure alignment with HR objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders.
  • Provide consultation to identify needs and priorities, including market research and internal analysis.
  • Consult on compensation challenges and solutions, including retention programs and off-cycle increases.
  • Lead the Annual Compensation Review, including project management and pay equity analysis.
  • Manage annual market analysis for assigned client groups, including data preparation and recommendations.
  • Partner with the Inclusion, Diversity & Equity team to monitor and measure compensation programs.
  • Influence the design of innovative compensation solutions based on business needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal and market topics to ensure compliance with compensation laws.
  • Facilitate leadership conversations regarding organization and job design.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of compensation programs across global locations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant compensation experience required.
  • Extensive knowledge of compensation practices and theory, including program design and project management.
  • Proven track record of complex integration experience in a global organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms to various audiences.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for data analysis and presentations.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  • Ability to organize and accomplish objectives independently.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions is highly desirable.
