About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager for the Compliance - Privacy Program to join our Compliance & Audit team. This full-time position is based in Jacksonville, FL, and offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work. The Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of privacy compliance, ensuring that all activities align with federal and state privacy laws. Under the guidance of the Privacy Officer and the Senior Vice President of Corporate Compliance, the Manager will utilize their leadership, technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills to effectively manage privacy compliance operations. In this role, the Compliance Manager will be responsible for investigating privacy complaints and conducting thorough privacy risk assessments. This includes ensuring that all regulatory deadlines are met and that privacy policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and revised as necessary. The Manager will also collaborate closely with the IT Information Security Team to enhance the overall privacy compliance framework within the organization. This position is vital in maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of patient information, thereby supporting Baptist Health's commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
